Water Sports:

Paddleboard Hire
One-hour paddleboard hire is £25 per person and includes board, paddle, buoyancy aid, wetsuit, and a short introduction to get you moving confidently on the water. Sessions run from our base at the Scottish Crannog Centre, giving you a sheltered and scenic place to explore.

Giant SUP Hire

Our giant SUP is a larger version of a standard stand-up paddleboard, designed to carry up to eight people at once. It’s a shared, social experience on the water, with all equipment provided, including helmets, buoyancy aids, wetsuits, paddles, and the board itself, priced at £25 per person.

Open Canoes Hire
Open canoes are ideal for two people and offer a slower, more relaxed way to explore the loch. This is usually a dry activity, so we recommend wearing quick-drying clothes and bringing a full change just in case. Canoes can also be rafted together for groups of four, creating a more stable and sociable platform, with all equipment included at £25 per person.

Guided Sessions
For those wanting more support or a deeper experience, guided sessions are available across all activities. Prices are £65 per person for a two-hour session, £95 per person for a half day (four hours), and £135 per person for a full day (six to seven hours).

Crannog by the Water

For something a little different, Crannog by Water offers a guided canoe experience exploring Loch Tay from the perspective of the Crannog Centre. Travel as part of a rafted canoe to visit submerged crannog sites and journey towards Priory Island, experiencing the landscape and its history from the water itself.

Wellness Tent

Extend your time with us by hiring the wellness tent for £20 per hour, a quiet space to slow down after the sauna, sit with a cup of tea, and take in the stillness of the loch at the Scottish Crannog Centre. With sheepskin rugs, cushions, and a simple, natural feel, it’s become a favourite for resting, reflecting, or simply listening to the water and birds.

It’s also a flexible space for small gatherings, from birthday groups to yoga, breathwork, or your own wellbeing sessions. There’s no fixed format, just a space to use in a way that feels right for you.
